Berries vs Standardized Lipid extract
If your goal is DHT reduction and hair regrowth, choose a lipid extract standardized to 85-95% fatty acids/sterols rather than this product.

540mg maybe too much
Its been recommended to start with 160mg-320mg a day ( Look it up, Do your Research)

Thus unless you are certain you should be taking this much? I'd start with the 320 mg and see how that works
and Get a PSA test and Physical Prostate Exam as well at leat once every 5 yrs after age 40..

Saw Palmetto; It's good for the prostate
Saw Palmetto is supposed to be good for the prostate and it's health. I like the Vitamin Shoppe brand because I can get 300 pills and get nearly a year's worth at a decent price.

One of two sups I would not live without
25 years ago I had.....uhmmm...urinary problems. So, I"m a guy see. And had no insurance. What to do...? Well, I did some research about alt products.

I read up on Saw Palmetto and decide to try it. It took awhile to work, but work it did!

Ah...free flowing....

So, about 6 mos ago I got lax on taking my supps....and sure enough....RESTRICTION!

All is ok now....but there are two supps I will absolutely NOT go without, Saw Palmetto, and Gluc/Chon/MSM.

The true test of a supp is to stop it. Yeah, right. I tried that and now I know better, lol.

I'm now 72, weigh 250 lbs, and I take 2 twice a day. My last PSA was 1.68, and I feel GOOD!.... grin

Over 25 years of experience...now that's the test of time.

good stuff!!
actually works pretty good 44 yrs old and get wood like im in my 20s again and thats on 1 a day!! i noticed it works best when taken every day like most herbals also a noticable rise in sex drive as well

Be careful with this product
The product, the capsules, taste etc., were just fine, however my concern is with saw palmetto itself.

Best Answer:  Yes, just one a day. My understanding is that the body can't handle more than one dose and would just just eliminate it without benefit to you. On the other hand, if you would feel better taking two, go for it, it won"t hurt you.

Best Answer:  I take 540mg 1 in AM & 1 in Pm,for a long time I"m 80 yrs. old .the scale is O - to 4 I have it checked once a year.my last check was in June 2014,it was 1.35.I've never taken the extract,the capsules has always worked for me . hope this answers your question.
