I will NEVER order online, AGAIN!
I ordered online from TVS/SS a bottle of Stinging Nettles with other items back on August 7th in order to receive the $25.00 off purchases totaling over $125--instead of ever receiving it . . . I had to keep calling because all other items were received in a timely manner; albeit separate orders? It was showing as "pending" on the website, so I called my local shop on Friday, 8/18/2023 and was told by Miguel that I had to talk with customer service. Then I called Heather who said it would be shipped on Wednesday the 23rd. On the 24th of August Youna said it was still backordered and would ship on September 8th. Finally on Saturday 9/09 Alesha told me it was backordered until 12 September. Now on 9/17 today I see that part of the order has "cancelled." Where is my refund? When I total up the invoice, I am NOT even seeing the $25 savings (there's NO WAY the just under $5 {+25 savings} difference is all sales tax!!)??

Didn’t work for me
I have been taking the stinging nettles for two months now and have not experienced any benefit. The only change has been a lightening of my wallet.

Pills get stuck and cause nasty burps
I have a really difficult time taking these pills. They get stuck in my esophagus every time I take them even if I fill my mouth up with water and swallow it down. I’ve taken dozens of supplements and never really had an issue like this. I think it’s likely poor casing because I’ve noticed the pills get stuck to my tongue when I place it in my mouth. Also wanted to note that these pills cause nasty/horrid burbs.

My recommendation to Vitamin Shoppe is to change the coating/casing of these pills. I still torture myself and take them since I need stinging nettles to prevent further hormonal hair loss.

Super Effective
This supplement really helps with all my allergies. It was recommended to me by my health practitioner and I am so thankful. It takes about two weeks to take full effect. I took it regularly and stopped. I notices right away how my allergies got worse. So, now that I am back on it I won't go off again!

A "Must" in my house
It is a wonderful antihistamine without sleepy side-effects! I have it in the house, in my car, in my purse! I react to many foods/chemicals. If I feel a reaction coming on, (headache, muscle pain, brain fog, etc.) I pop two Stinging Nettles and the reaction goes away within 15 minutes and it doesn't make me sleepy. I don't know what I would do without it!

Prostate Health.
I have taking this product for quite some time along with a prostate complex formula(1+1)and it has worked wonders with relief for a slightly enlarged prostate and my urologist has taken me of of a drug yhat I was taking for a while. The Doctor said whatever you are taking, keep doing it, you are in great shape, after prostate examination. joed43--Thanks

Best Answer:  I am not sure of that. I have been taking nettle for allergies since 2005 and suffer very few effects of cedar. I also use olive leaf extract nasal spray to kill airborn fungus. You might want to consult a homeopath on giving nettle to a young child...

what does this product do to the body?

Best Answer:  I bought this for two reasons:

1) It's supposed to lessen the impact of flu or colds similar to what echinacea does. I alternate them if I have symptoms every 6 hours until I lose the symptoms, but not longer than 6 weeks at a time.

2) It's supposed to be good for the prostate also.

Best Answer:  No. I use it for my allergies. I used to take Allegra and used Flonase due to allergies. I started taking stinging nettles and no longer have to use the Allegra and Flonase.

Best Answer:  The ariel (above ground) parts. Just off the top of my head, traditionally used for allergies, iron deficiency and alkaline/acid balance. You can get nettle root supplements; the label will specify nettle root. Again off the cuff, it was traditionally used for prostrate problems. Hope this was helpful.
