About This Product

The primary herb in this formula, eucommia, has been researched for helping to maintain healthy blood pressure function.* The Chinese traditionally used the herbs in this delicious, mild-tasting tea to tonify and nourish the kidneys and liver.* Regular tonification of the kidney and liver was believed to contribute to good health and longevity.* It also was used to support the healthy function of the back, bladder and joints.* *These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Directions

Brewing directions: HOT TEA---Pour 1 cup of boiling water over a tea bag. Let steep 10 minutes or longer. Squeeze tea bag gently into cup. Leave in cup as drinking. ICED TEA---Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 2 tea bags. Let steep 10 minutes. Remove the tea bags, squeeze gently, then add ice. For stronger flavor and effect, steep longer, or use 2 tea bags.* A tea bag can be re-used to extract more herbal benefits.* For a delicious change, try it with lemon and honey or your favorite sweetener.

Warning

Consult your health care provider before use if you are taking any medication or have a medical condition.* Do not use if you are pregnant, nursing or may become pregnant.* Consult your health care provider before use if you have an allergy or sensitivity to latex.* Eucommia leaf contains a natural white gum EUG (Eucommia ulmoides gum), a type of natural latex.* It differs from the latex derived from the ordinary tropical rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis).* While Chinese herbalists consider eucommia safe and effective, there may be cross sensitivity in people with latex allergies or sensitivity.* Discontinue use and consult your doctor if any adverse reactions occur.* Keep out of reach of children.*

Taste similar to oolong tea
The product seems to be good but does not state how many times a day you can drink it because it has Eucommia leaf which treats other ailments. no recommendations it it should be taken at night or in the morning or as a casual tea all day.
This all would have been helpful to know so I am only taking it in the evening.

THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT!
This tea doesn't need any sugar or honey to sweeten it. I don't know what is in this tea, but it definitely lowers your blood pressure. I was skeptical when I drank this tea and a few hours later took my blood pressure, I just knew it was my medicine. I stopped drinking the tea for a few days, and my pressure was slightly elevated. Whenever I drink the tea my pressure is normal, when I stop drinking it my pressure rises again. I do take blood pressure medicine, but the doctor has not found the correct dosage for me yet. I will continue to drink this tea.

Works!
I am 26yr and started to have high blood pressure. I didn't want to go on medicine, so when I saw this tea I decided to try it. The tea has a very light taste that I like, and works. I also cut down the sodium in my diet which helped drastically (of course). I know that my blood pressure has been regulated now mostly because of this tea. When I feel that the blood pressure is high I aways take this tea. Also if I know that I'm going to eat something that might increase my BP I drink the tea before, or after.

Does this tea have caffeine?

Organic Matcha Powder - Whole Leaf Green Tea

Matcha Powder is a unique type of tea made from whole Japanese green tea leaves. Before harvest, the plant is kept shaded from the sun. This results in boosted chlorophyll content and an incredibly vibrant emerald color. Matcha is a known energy booster and is roughly ten times more potent than regular green tea. The process of grinding the whole leaf into a super fine powder yields a higher concentration of nutrients and a stronger flavor profile. Our Matcha Powder is pure and simple. No additives are used at any point in the process.
