I LOOK AND FEEL GREAT - THIS IS THE BEST MULTIVITAMIN IN MY BOOK
I've been using this brand for many years. I am on medication for hypthyroidism, and so I have to be careful what kind of multivitamin I take. I tried other brands, but this multivitamin is the best. I look and feel great. I've been told by my teenaged children's friends and my extended family that I look 20 years younger, and I believe that this multivitamin is part of the reason for that.

No more swelling in my eye
This vitamin has been a miracle for me!
I was getting a injection in my left eye every three months for five years. When I started taking this vitamin the swelling in my eye went away. I haven't had a injection for 2 years!
Three tablets a day. As the serving size suggests.

The product is a tablet, but people over 50 don't absorb tablets well (capsules with powder are much better).
This is supposed to be for women over 50. The problem is it's a "tablet". Studies show that people over 50 do not break down tablets in their stomach very well. And the older you get the worse this gets.

Only capsules containing powder absorb easily for seniors. You'd think Vitamin Shoppe would have paid attention to this.

Time to hire people who actually understand senior nutrition.

B6 toxicity warning
Be very careful with the extremely high vitamin B6 content. I developed peripheral neuropathy and will never take this vitamin again.

Good quality / Feel healthy
I like the mix of nutrients in the tablets. They are an easy to swallow size, and they don?t have an aftertaste.

I feel like I have good energy, and I?m sure the vitamins play a part.

Just opened a new bottle of Ultimate woman 50+ Sustained Release. Some of the tablets are yllow, others are beige. Is this normal?

Best Answer:  My experience with these vitamins is that the entire bottle of vitamins has always been consistently medium brown in color. There has bever been a yellow or beige color tablet in the bottles I've used.

Best Answer:  As a consumer, I got turned onto Vitamin Shoppe many years ago by a retired-schoolteacher friend whom I trusted implicitly. I tried VS myself, ordering from the printed catalog. If you see all the vitamin gurus who endorse VS (and vice versa), and try some of the other-name products they also sell, you would not have a question about their integrity and quality. For myself, just the fact that THEY keep up with my bonus points each year and automatically refund them to me proves that they are trustworthy, trustworthy, trustworthy!

Best Answer:  I find them very easy to swallow. The outer coating is smooth. The tablets are elongated, and each one measures 3/4" long x 1/4" wide x 1/8" thick around the edge. They are domed and measure 1/4" thick at the thickest point. I don't have a problem swallowing any pills, but if you do, try taking them with something like applesauce or banana.

I see that it says these are gluten-free. But are they wheat free (besides being gluten-free) and casein free as well? Neither is mentioned either way. Thanks.

Best Answer:  Wheat is not listed anywhere in their ingredients. They do claim to be Gluten Free. I trusted them enough to try them and have had no problems in using this product. Wheat is a gluten. Sincerely, Thressa
