About This Product

Carlson for Kids Cod Liver Oil comes from the livers of fresh cod fish found in the arctic ocean waters of Norway. The oil is separated from the liver tissues without the use of chemicals. To ensure the freshness of the oil, the air inside the bottle is replaced with nitrogen and natural-source vitamin E is added.

Directions

Children 4 years and older take 1/2 teaspoonful once or twice daily at mealtime.

Warning

Consult your pediatrician before giving to children under 4 years of age. After initially opening the bottle, keep refrigerated and preferably use within 100 days. Keep out of reach of children.

Definitely Recommend!
Much less expensive per serving then the chewable fish oils. It tastes good enough that my kids will drink it. We do keep it in the refrigerator which helps the flavor.

My children's doctor said I should start them on Fish Oil, and I want to know if this stuff is tolerable to swallow or will I have to chase them around the house and force it down their throat while I've got them backed into a corner? The doctor said another patient uses a liquid fish oil that is cinnamon flavor and the children love it, but I didn't see any brands that have cinnamon flavor.

Best Answer:  My son loves the lemon flavor. We tried the bubble gum one first but he actually wanted to have lemon which I use. I called if "power" fish oil and he always wants it
