About This Product

  • Supports cardiovascular health
  • Promotes nitric oxide production
  • Suitable for everyday wellness seekers
  • Free of gluten, dairy, soy, and nuts

L-arginine is a free-form amino acid that your body converts into a chemical called nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator that promotes the relaxation of blood vessels, circulation, and heart health. While l-arginine is found naturally in red meats, chicken, fish, and dairy, sometimes our diet alone misses the mark. But don't worry, we're here to help.

Taken once daily, The Vitamin Shoppe® brand L-Arginine capsules support cardiovascular health and nitric oxide production with 500mg of l-arginine per daily serving.

Directions

As a dietary supplement, take one (1) capsule daily, preferably in between meals.

Very good

Good for pumps

good every day amino to help support NO production

Did this product help improve erections?

Best Answer:  In conjunction with a couple of other things, testosterone oil and secretegoge, it has been terrific. I don't have total confidence in it's efficacy by itself. It is, however, good for blood flow which helps in other areas (cardiovascular).

Is this good for erectile disfunction?

Best Answer:  After taking the product for a while, I noticed a spike in my sexual activity. I can't say that L-Arginine was the reason, but it sure helped! That along with garlic, exercise and changing my diet.

I would like to improve my blood pressure and circulation as well...my question is , How many capsule should I take on a daily basis?

Best Answer:  I only take one a day, however, I exercise regularly (2 hour/day Nordic Track Skier) and maintain a blood pressure of around 110/69 with a resting heart rate of around the low 50s. I am almost 68.

Is it ok to take it if you are also taking COQ10 daily?

Best Answer:  Yes, you may take both. You should take the COQ10 right before or immediately after your first meal of the day. L-Arginine should be taken between meals: 2 hours after a meal and/or 2 hours before a meal. I also know that some people take their COQ10 at bed time: your preference.

WHAT IS A GOOD FOR BUILDING MUSCLE FAST?

Best Answer:  I don't know the answer to this. L-arginine is used by athletes for better performance due to increased blood flow, but not sure of its ability to build muscle fast.

What are the side effects for people who are on high blood pressure medication?

Best Answer:  Hallo Jaime: As I'm not a doctor nor take blood pressure meds, I'd suggest asking Dr.Oz or your dr. I take Insulin and have had no adverse reactions, instead I feel energized. Good luck...

I have heard through the grapevine that this product can help with hair growth as well. Any truth to that?

Best Answer:  L-Arginine is one of the essential amino acids used biologically to assist in many functions of the human body. Google the following: l-arginine biological effects and click on Pharmacodynamics of l-argining.
I have been taking l-arginine for probably three years for the main purpose of helping to increase the NO (nitrous Oxide) concentration levels in the blood system. This combined with two other supplements helps to keep the intimate parts of life alive. As far as helping with hair growth, personally haven't heard or read anything about that, but being an essential amino acid it sure wouldn't hurt any thing. I have used Biotin to some benefit with hair loss. You might want to try that. Hope this helps you answer your question. Ken

can you tell me what other supplements you take along with L arginine to keep the "intimate parts" working?arcas

Is this product made up of acetyl L-carnitine (ALC) or propionyl-L-carnitine (PLC)?

Best Answer:  Proprionyl-L-carnitine is a carnitine derivative. Acetyl-L-carnitine is, also a carnitine derivative. I have done some extensive search to try to see if L-argenine and any carnitine are related, and have foundnone. Dr. Weil writes about acetyl-L-carnitine"It is synthasized to provide a more bioavailable form of L-carnitine, which is a derivative of the amino acid lysine.

Is it time release capsule?
