I buy critical care, it is in the refrigerator section at the vitamin warehouse. I do store in the fridge myself, it does say on the side of the bottle, best if stored in fridge.

  Eva, I see nothing on the label that indicates that refrigeration is neccessary. It states to store in a dry place at 73*F.

  I'm not quite sure. This is actually a capsule not a pill per se. it should be easy to digest. I wish I could be more help. From what I understand, the capsule is what helps the probiotics reach your stomach without being destroyed by the stomach acid.

  I don't believe you should break open the capsules. These bacteria are time released so that they will enter your intestine and not be killed in the acid of your stomach.

  It is a timed release capsule, that doesn't break down from stomach acid. Doesn't sound like something you want to break apart. Sorry, it is my favorite probiotic.

  It should. The capsule is only to contain the the ingredients. It is not the capsule which is beneficial, but the powder iinside the capsule.

Do not use the Miralax because it will contract the building of Flora.
