My husband and I were both told to take 1000 mg of Omega3 three times per day which can get quite costly. This one not only had the right dosage but also a great price. I knocked off a star because even though the capsules are easy to swallow, they're huge.

I can't believe I fell for this misleading product. The old saying comes to mind, "If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is". The recommended daily dose of DHA/EPA is 1000 mg. If you read the supplement facts on this product, you will see that it says EPA equal to 180 mg, DHA equal to 120 mg...then under the Amount Per Serving? 1000 mg. HUH?? Last time I checked, 180 + 120 = 300. Not 1000!! The rest of the gel-cap may be filled with fish oil, but certainly not 1000 mg of DHA/EPA. In order to get close to the recommended daily amount, you would have to take at least 3 of these "supplements" a day. VERY disappointed that I never paid attention, as I'm now on my second bottle. Not only have I wasted my money, but I've also wasted time...thinking I was doing something GOOD for my health, when all along I wasn't even getting the amount my body needed. Buyer Beware. The price is the ONLY good thing about this product.

If you have to take 3 a day, good thing there are 200 pills in the bottle so it will still last for over two months. And it's like $10. Unless you want something with a higher EPA/DHA ratio, I fail to see the problem.

Doctor wanted me to take prescription omega 3 oil... co pay is too expensive... Started to take country life... 3 months later hdl, ldl and tri's all in normal range... product well exceeded my expectations...

THE PRICE WAS GREAT BUT THE AFTER EFFECTS WERE NOT. AT FIRST I HAD JUST A FEW FISH BURPS BUT AFTER TAKING IT FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS THEY STARTED TO LINGER THROUGHOUT THE DAY. I RETURNED THESE AND BOUGHT THE COROMEGA 3 (ORANGE FLAVORED) AND THEY WORK GREAT.

I take Omega-3 because it's never too early to work on memory retention. my greatgrandmother was an avid fish eater who would eat the eyes of the fish and told me it was good for me, she died with her memories in tact, and with all the problems of memory loss so many suffer from including my mother I wondered if my gg was onto something. I noticed after taking this country life omega-3 that 4 out of 5 mornings I would wake up with full recollection of my muliple dreams intact. Where as before I would wake up and wondered if I had dreamt at all. Well now i know that every night is a dream night and I have since recommended my mom take her Omega-3 everyday to help retain her memories. This stuff is non fishy and works great!

Great product I highly recommend it!! Doesn't give you that nasty fish taste like some of Omega 3 Fish Oils do.
