I agree with you that it can be a very good protein - but I highly recommend reading about Lysine/Arginine balance! Using this long term without balancing it is asking for shingles.

This stuff is wonderful in many respects but be forewarned if you've Ever had chicken pox, cold sores, herpes, or anything in the shingles family - AVOID this protein and Soy. You can take it occasionally - but it's as bad as chocolate for anyone with these conditions. It's is Excessively HIGH in Arginine and VERY low in Lysine! This protein is also not balanced as a general protein for the same reason - Lysine is one of the essential amino acids and works in tandem with Arginine - so having one out of balance leaves the other just floating around in your system; and eventually comes out as expensive urine. Free floating arginine can be great if you're a man with ED or if you want a temporary rush of blood to muscle tissue (some body builders Cycle Arginine just like Creatine - just for slightly different reasons). So you could cycle this protein with others and skip the separate Arginine supplement. I'm vegetarian and allergic to milk -but I personally prefer egg protein. I know there are vegans against eggs- but I can't comprehend a reason. No one complains that my eggs weren't fertilized last month- every female being on the face of the earth will shed hundreds to thousands of unused eggs in their lifetime. If you do choose to take this as a sole protein please add a lysine supplement. People who had chicken pox when young (most of the human population) can become susceptible to shingles as adults. A diet loaded with free floating Arginine will INCREASE the odds of it.

I'm not vegan either, but I can understand why people are against using eggs considering how poorly the chickens are treated. I hope you at least op for free range eggs, preferably from a source that is local so you can see the conditions.

I think this product has a good taste & smell. I mix it into rice cereal for b-fast. Keeps me until lunchtime. I've also tried it in a shake, and I think it's good. Price was best (at the time of searching/purchase) and service was very fast.

There is not much to say that has not already been said. The absence of the sweet syrupy smell and taste is good in my book. I do not want the added processed sugar or even worse the artificial sweeteners. As for the rest it is all good.

Comments about Nutribiotic Rice Protein Vegan Vanilla - 3 Pound Powder:
A really tasty vanilla flavor - it smells really delicious like dessert! A great addition to green smoothies. To balance out proteins I mix soy and rice together, but with the greens you are getting a lot of other aminos, so I am not too worried. Great huge container as well.

With all my allergies, this is the only way I can get enough protein in my diet. I use it in a spinach smoothie with rice milk and vit C powder and it tastes great. The amount of protein in each serving is also the most I've seen.

it IS the densest you'll find but because the balance is so far out of whack in the amino acids (read the back label for the amino acid breakdown) a lot of that is not assimilated. I recommend egg protein - or at least adding Carlson's Lysine powder.

I enjoy this protein powder so much. It does not contain any sugars which is great for me. It's a bt chalky which I love but my husband doesn't enjoy so much. Great vanilla flavour.
Comments about Nutribiotic Rice Protein Vegan Vanilla - 3 Pound Powder:
This is a good product to add a vegan protein that does not contain soy or dairy. The protein mixes well with most drinks, ie. juice or water. The powder smells great, but does not deliver with flavor. I like to add extras.
