I can honestly say that this works much better (for me) than prozac. The effects are the same ( for me ) except for the water retention. Am so glad my hunney found this for me. The best part is that I can take it in the morning and have a cocktail in the evening with my meal!

DHEA has proven to be a wonderful solution to menopause. I was very young when I got cancer and had a hysterectomy. Shortly after turning 40, I felt myself not feeling myself, almost like my brain was getting blocked. (sad and low energy). My hormones and emotions were getting out of hand. I tried everything on the shelf for women and realized the hormone in me that was going crazy, was testosterone. I reluctantly tried DHEA and was stunned by how quickly I came back to being myself. DHEA seems to reverse the aging process, and I feel like I can conquer anything!
Be careful with this tho, it can act like a steroid, and too much can swing your hormones and emotions in the other direction!
I won't ever live without this one, and I do use The Vitamin Shoppe brand. And I take 100 mg per day. (150 was too much)
Just like anything, we are all different, so always proceed with caution, and start low!

Im a 40 yr old male ,works too much,and has two young kids to keep up with,I also try to workout at least twice a week.I found I get a better muscle pump and it dosent seem to deflate as quickly, Im also able to get that umph I use to in my 20s in the gym, however no real diff in the sexual department unfortunatly. I Did notice a diff in my moods though,seem to be in a happier state of mind ,not as stressed.I feel the longer Ive taken this the more noticeable the effects are.I will continue using this and would recommend it to anyone hitting 40 and finding things slowing down.

First I am a 52 year old male and am have been in the Army for 28 years. I have always worked out (not a fanatic though) and have noticed dropoffs over time. My workouts became less rewarding and minor injuries started to nag at me. Since coming back from Afghanistan I have had had a hard time even getting motivated to workout. It was very noticeable at this point and I was gaining weight. I started looking for a supplement and read more on DHEA. I have been using this for about 45 days at this point:better mental state, more energy, quicker recovery, less hunger, more muscle mass. Overall I feel like I did in my 30s. I suppose it could all be in my head but I doubt it. I have lost about 3 inches on my waist but have also put on muscle (everywhere) and have more stamina. I started with 1/1 morning/night. I have increased that to 2/2 slowly and plan on leaving it there for now. I am not sure I would benefit taking more. I will warn anyone taking this: be careful how much you take. The first week I was taking 1 and 1 but tried 2 one evening-bad idea. I started getting a stuffy head and puffy face. I ended up taking a bennadryl. Could have been a cold but I did not want to take a chance. I suggest you start with 50mg/day or possible 100mg if you are big(I am 220) and build up. Workouts are a breeze and I am quite happy with the VS brand-price is awesome and I can't see any other working better. If you are over 45 this is a no brainer.

I have been an avid weight lifter all my life and I only believe in using supplements that are natural, legal and produce results. Before I take ANYTHING, I always do my research. When I started taking th Vitamin Shoppe DHEA, I noticed a difference within a week. I am currently 46 years old and I have never felt better! For the price, it's definitely worth the try.
