Sub-par

Not real great. This is a tablet and I plan to go back to the capsule I was taking before. It's hard to really know if Manganese is really working but I've been taking this one for a few months now and it feels like my tendons have not been as flexible lately and more susceptible to injury.

Help for food poisoning

I live in the deep South where food poisoning is a problem, esp. in the summer.

Please read the internet Science Daily article of Jan 21, 2012 entitled, "Manganese may have Potential in Neutralizing Deadly Shiga Toxin". E coli strains are also being tested.I have found it be very fast acting and very effective.

little known fact about maganese

When condroiton and glucosomine became popular with the release of"THE ARTHRITIS CURE" many of the companies did not include the small amount of maganese and vitamin C that helps bind those to and help them work. I have moved here from NY in the past year and was so happy to find it on this site. I am now giving this to my arthritic dog and am crushing the pills myself to add this ingredient. Dogs do not tolerate the Vitamin C in some of the mixtures and the canine versions are too expensive. Thank you VitaminShoppe.

Does this product contain calcium and if so how much? I wish I could read this label in its entirety as my calcium levels are already maxed out and manufacturers want to put it in everything!

Best Answer: just had a look onto the package:
other ingredients (excelt 10mg manganese):
Dicalcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, purified water, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyethylene glycol.

1/4 of dicalcium phosphate is calcium.

Due to the size of the tablets I would say that this amount of calcium should not be relevant for you.
