      Comments about Vitamin Shoppe Deodorized Garlic (500 MG) - 600 Capsules:

      Garlic has antibacterial properties and (as far as I can tell) it's effectiveness doesn't decline with regular use. Anytime I feel a "bug" coming on, I boost my daily dose. Just be careful because it can cause a drop in blood pressure (which is my main reason for using it). This deodorized garlic works very well. I've taken raw garlic and garlic caps of other brands....raw cloves- the smell comes out of every pore of your body. You don't have to worry about being contagious, because no one will come near you. Other brand gel caps- filled with oil that repeats and makes your breath smell awful. These are pretty reliable, I've only had a mild garlic "burp" while taking a double dose on an empty stomach (I figure that's a no-brainer!)
