So wonderful!
This is a great amino acid that helps turn off my brain so I can actually sleep at night. It helps with turning off the fight or flight response so I take it anytime I notice my anxiety is going too far. I also have this on auto delivery so I don't risk running out!

Benefits of L Theanine
I use L theanine everyday , 1 in the morning prior to starting work day and 1 before bed . Very useful for calming affects and does not in of itself make me sleepy or lethargic, by taking at night along with magnesium, promotes better sleep and also assist with those middle of night wake ups

Take with 5-htp
Take it with the 5-htp and you will see a difference! I take the 5-htp at night and I take the L-Theanine in the morning. Taken Together I see a difference. They balance each other.

I was interested in this product for sleep aid. Has anyone used this product for this purpose?

  My husband uses it for anxiety during the day and he says it does have a calming effect. But not for sleep. I use natural calm magnesium at night for sleep.

  I use it and it seems to work quite well. I take it about 15 - 30 minutes before bed, and fall asleep quite quickly.

  Yes, it is great for sleep. I usually take 1 before bed and if I wake up during the night and can't fall back, I take another.I take it with New Chapter Bone Strength which is calcium magnesium combo. I've read how magnesium is also a great sleep aid.

  L-theanine promotes calmness, not drowsiness. Have you tried the VS advanced sleep formula? I like it very much---have been takimg 2 capsules every night for a couple of years. It doesn't cause any morning drowsiness.
