Don't know who or what could swallow the tablets.
We unknowingly purchased tablets instead of capsules. I normally have no trouble swallowing vitamins, but the tablets are almost impossible to swallow. They are extremely large and do not get slippery even if you suck on them. They are a very chalky texture. I tried cutting one in half. It was easy to cut, but the rough edges from cutting made it painful to swallow. We have purchased Ester-C capsules and have been pleased with them, but the 1000 MG TABLETS should not even be on the market.

What Works !!
I have been buying Vitamin C -- Ester-C from the Vitamin Shop for 20 years. The Vitamin Shop is always my first go to store and when I can't get to the store I order what I need. If I feel a cold coming on I'll take an Ester-C and I'll knock it out of my system.
