kinda disappointed

I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. I was a little disappointed by the smell, I don't know if it was me but this was my first time buying this brand of peppermint oil and the smell of the peppermint oil was not what I expected, the smell was different from other brands of peppermint oil that I have purchased in the past.

Best headache oil

I love this oil for my sinus headaches. This helps so much with soothing my headaches.

Great for a headache!

I spread a little of this oil on my forehead when I have an occasional headache and it is gone in no time. I gave some to a skeptical friend once for a headache and she couldn't believe the difference in 5 minutes.
I have also rubbed it on the back of my neck for a stick neck, probably due to stress. It worked very well!

Works great for tummy troubles too!

I was hospitalized several years ago for a full week for never ending diarrhea. Despite all the tests, the doctors never did find anything wrong with me and I finally self-diagnosed a broken down gut after years of antibiotic abuse (doctors will prescribe antibiotics for just about anything and I used to get recurring sinus infections until I learned how to manage them). A very kind nurse slipped me some peppermint oil on the QT. Wow. It really does help with a distressed stomach. It's very calming.

Mice and rodents hate Peppermint!

If you have mice, chipmunks, squirrels, or other rodent issues, add some peppermint oil to cotton balls and put in the areas that they tend to gather. Supposedly the menthol-ly smell does not agree with rodents. It is good for tired feet, too. This is one of the essential oils that I keep on hand for good measure.

Nice Product

I bought this product and add a few drops to my bath water for the aromatherapy aspects. I like the smell and it doesn't dry out my skin. It is a good quality product. There are other scents that I like better for bathing but this is nice once in awhile for a change.

Peppermint Oil, an A-plus!!

I March, 2010, I called an exterminator to relocate the mouse family that set up residency in my attic. After 2 visits, I still heard the pitter patter of little mouse feet from above. I mentioned this to my father, and he recommended I find some peppermint oil. So, I went to my local Vitamin Shoppe to inquire about this affordable remedy. The guy that helped me not only directed me to the product, he also mentioned that this was one of the leading reasons why they sold through so much peppermint oil. I bought the product less than a month ago. The results? After using a few drops on cottonballs and dispersing them throughout my attic (especially where the mice were coming in) and leaving a few partially saturated cottonballs in my luggage (keeps the bags smelling fresh and the mice out!), I am Mickey Mouse free! And, the added benefit is that my attic smells fresh!

Best Answer: Some people do use it for headaches. Pkease dilute! There is a lot of information about correct dilution out there. Please search for an essential oil dilution chart. Good luck! I hope this helps.
