It's fine
This is B2 100 mg that I use for my migraines. The only thing is that I wish The Vitamin Shoppe would stock the 400 mg. I have to take four 100 mg capsules at a time.

Amazing for Headache and Migraines!
Like many people, I use this for headache and migraine management and prevention, for me personally, I take 2 capsules a day, IF I get a headache or migraine, I'll up the dose to 4. Most people on average though take 400-500 mg for their headaches and migraines. While I've only just been taking this for a week, one thing that was drastically clear, was how taking B2 takes the edge off and then completely gets rid of the headache and migraine in a matter of an hour or less. This is not hyperbole or my imagination, my migraines and headaches are usually INTENSE, very throbbing and painful, but not since taking B2, it has immensely made a world of a difference. I'm not expecting this to "cure" my migraines and headaches in the long term but that I know for sure that it takes the edge off and keeps it at bay so dramatically, makes me so happy. A game-changer for sure, and I don't use that term loosely!

Hi. I suffer from migraines and am seeing more an more people turning to b-2 for prevention. It looks like the recommended dosage for migraine prevention is 400 mg/day, but this product states 1 100mg pill/day is what they recommend. Is it safe to take so much more than what's recommended on the bottle?

Best Answer:  My Neurologist recommended 300 mg./day for Migraines, so take (1) of these 3 times a day along with Magnesium Lactate - 84 mg. 3xday (hard to find, but I get mine online: Mag-Tab SR- Niche Pharmaceuticals, Inc.) and CoQ10 - 300 mg. daily and Bupivacaine/Lidocaine injections at skull base every 3 months. My migraines are rare and usually food-triggered now after 34 years.
