For my nails

Help skin look younger

Does it contain type 1, 2, & 3?

Best Answer:  Collagen Peptides contains types I and III collagen. This is what I was told directly by a company representative when I contacted them to inquire the same.

Should I take this on empty stomach for best results?

Best Answer:  Taking it consistently will give you the fastest results- I take it every morning with my coffee and I’ll add it to something else when cooking. But like anything, working with it will speed up results- (ie healthy diet and exercise, great skin regimen) but! If you’re not on top of things, this will still give you results as long as you use it consistently.

Can it cause weight gain?

Best Answer:  Like someone else mentioned, anything with calories is substantial. But this is clean protein and doesn’t have added sugar or syrups. If nothing else, it’s an excellent source of protein to add to your daily intake. You can use it as a substitute to thinks like corn starch or cream and it’s lighter on your body.

Can you take both this form, type 2, as well as collagen peptides, which are type 1 and 3?

Best Answer:  Don’t know.

I would like to know what kind of results people have seen after taking this?

Best Answer:  I take medication for autoimmune disease and suffer negative symptoms with hair skin and nails. After researching collagen powders, this was my choice for help with those issues. I am SO glad I did. I have been using for 3 weeks and I see a real change in my hair and skin and joints. I mix it in my smoothies and it dissolves well and doesn’t add any unwanted flavoring. Very impressive product.

Is this good?

Best Answer:  I’ve only been using it a month and have found subtle changes in skin and energy benefits. I believe you need to use this product for at least 6 to 8 weeks to see any real changes though so I will continue using it .

Does your collegian have propylene glycol in it or shell fish?  I am allergic to both.

Best Answer:  This supplement does not contain either propylene glycol or shell fish; however this product is manufactured in facility that processes milk, fish, and tree nuts.

Is this Type 1 & Type III or all types?

Best Answer:  This item contains Type I and Type III collagen.

Does this have hyalauronic acid?

Best Answer:  As far as I know I believe yes.

Thanks! I don’t see it listed on this particular one so I’m curious

Look up what is Vital Proteins collagen. It will give you all the info you need. Just to be on the safe side

Where does the Product come from? I seen some come from South America and other Places.

Best Answer:  The product label does not list the source of the raw ingredients. Since this is a third party item we would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly for this information. You can find their contact information in the following link: https://www.vitalproteins.com/pages/contact-us#

Collagen is an important structural protein that promotes skin elasticity and supports the regeneration of the body’s connective tissues. In other words, collagen contributes to bone strength and the health of hair, skin, joints, muscles, cartilage, and ligaments. As we age, our bodies tend to produce less collagen on their own. Dietary supplements, like Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides, make getting daily intake of collagen an easy part of your routine.

This easy-to-digest formula absorbs in hot or cold liquids so you can mix it with your favorite beverage everyday. You can also try mixing the powder into oatmeal, soups, sauces, or dressings for additional ways to incorporate collagen peptides into your diet. The 20-ounce container of Vital Protein powder contains 28 servings of bovine collagen peptides that can help support general bone and joint health and revitalize your skin and hair. Collagen supplements encourage the formation of new collagen, which can promote nail growth and help your skin.
