Evening Primrose is a flowering plant found in the temperate and subtropical regions of North America. It’s a natural source of gamma linoleic acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid known to support healthy skin and help relieve mild PMS-related discomfort in women.

This formula from The Vitamin Shoppe® brand contains 500mg of cold-pressed evening primrose oil, providing 45mg of GLA per serving.

Directions

Take one (1) softgel up to three (3) times daily, preferably with meals.

Best Answer:  Yes! It has to get into your system so I'd suggest 1 a day for 30-60 days to see results. If you miss a dose or run out you'll basically be starting all over. So keep it on hand and take 1 daily for continued relief. It has been amazing for me personally.

Is GLA the important ingredient in this? I see that the higher the mg of EPO the lower the mg of GLA. So what gets me the most the the most important ingredient - 1300 mg, 1000 mg, or 500 mg of EPO?
