      Great health benefits, quality oil.
      Dr. Budwig found that the health of your cells can quickly be reversed by consuming a mixture of cottage cheese (quark), flaxseeds, and flaxseed oil. Cottage cheese is rich in sulfur protein and saturated fats and flaxseed oil is high in electron rich unsaturated fatty acids.

      Sometimes its bitter
      I love this flax seed oil. If it is bitter either from getting shipped, or from the store, bring it back to the store and they will replace it with sweet tasting oil. No problem

      Last two times purchased this oil smells rancid and tastes horrible. Used to be fine but not anymore. 30 day money back guarantee is useless if you buy more than one at a time.

      Stick to Barlean's
      Went into store intent on buying Barlean's flax oil with lignans. Was assured that Vit. Shoppe's brand was the same thing, made by Barlean's. So I fell. It's NOT the same. First, there are no lignan particles. And the taste is nasty. Now I have two bottles of their product that is totally unsatisfactory. Stick with the true product, not some knock-off that is inferior. (by the way, I wrote to them about this and they ignored my concern)

      Good, but on second attempt.
      The VS-1881 Flax Oil Organic High Lignans I received was bitter tasting. Concerned that the bitterness may have been an indication of rancidity, I contacted Vitamin Shoppe. They shipped out a replacement, which tastes fine, at no additional cost to me and also paid for the return shipping of the original. So, in the end, Vitamin Shoppe made good.

      Tastes awful
      I bought this online because it seemed like a good deal. I put flaxseed oil in my protein shakes. I had previously bought the flaxseed oil at a Vitamin Shoppe store -- it was in the refrigerator section at the store. I though this stuff was the same thing, but it obviously is not because the taste it adds to my protein shake is horrid. Maybe it needs to be refrigerated?? I stored it in the refregerator since it arrived, but I think it came with the bad taste. I'm not sure, but I wish I wouldn't have bought two bottles of this stuff. I just cannot stand the taste.

      Vitamin Shoppe Flax Oil
      I put this in or on almost everything I eat. It adds a great flavor, plus it adds health benefits to my meals. I really like it best as a salad dressing. I mix a tiny bit of apple cider vinegar and lemon juice with a small amt of flax seed oil, keep it stored in a mason jar, and use it up within a week. Delicious!

      Best Answer:  The label does not have the "Non-GMO Project Verified" label on it, however, it is Organic and technically, anything labled Organic cannot be a GMO product... we can only hope!

      Best Answer:  First of all, GNC is a big waste of time and an even bigger waste of money. Secondly, you can click on any product on vitaminshoppe.com and then click on "Supplement Facts" and/or "Product Info" and/or the product image and see the label itself to see exactly what the product contains.
