refrigerated and the shelf stable version?

Best Answer:  I have had both by accidentally getting the non refrigerated sent by mistake...I did not notice a difference but I just feel better getting as many live strains as possible...so I continue to get the refrigerated version and purchase it through my local store. I only take 1 daily before bed...even though it says 3 a day....I saw no difference from when I took 3 daily verses 1 daily....I do not eat dairy so this is my dairy substitute since it has all the good bacteria you would get from eating dairy. I highly recommend every woman taking these....it has actually helped balance my hormones...I am peri-menopause....if you have serious hormone imbalances maybe take 2 to 3 daily as recommended. :)
