Best Answer:  Not at all. I am always trying to lose weight, and I feel very comfortable using this product. The products that make me fat are the protein bars.

Best Answer:  It is a good source of clean, plant based protein, sweetened with stevia, which will not spike insulin. It is relatively low calorie, and I use it to boost my protein levels in meals and smoothies.

The product itself doesn't promote weight loss, but in my opinion, it's a good source protein grams and low carb and very low sugar. I eat very, very clean and workout six days per week, so I need a lot of protein to keep myself together. I use this brand interchangeably with a couple of other plant based protein powders I found to like over the years.

Calories in/calories out BUT you want those "IN calories" to be nutritionally sound to power your body and mind.

I find the flavor to be pretty good, but it is a bit chalky.

Best Answer:  I found the vanilla flavor to be not only flavorful but lent itself to more creativity...adaptable to as many flavors as I added other ingredients. Ex. Adding berries, cacao or tropical fruit changed the monotony of drinking just plain vanilla.

Best Answer:  I would mix in a small shaker cup with water or almond milk for better flavor . Its thick so really I prefer to use my majic bullet and add ice and fruit also... The original taste by itself takes some getting used to. The protein is a good source though.

Is this product vegan? The reason I ask is the vitamin d listed does not specify if it is D3 (cholecalciferol which is from an animal source) or D2 (ergocalciferol which is from plant source). Thanks.

product towards the bottom. Then on the back by the Vitamin D there is an asterisk that points to the end which again indicates that it is of plant source.
