We believe we have benefitted in terms of our immune system. I assume your statement was based on a one time occurence and all other posssible causes have been ruled out.

YES. I purchased and used Host Defense products for about 6 months. I was convinced they were helping me for awhile, but then I started noticing some side effects. For one, I developed gout in my big toe. Secondly, I noticed some issues with my mind that I had never experienced. I realized I was consuming a lot of mushrooms amongst the products I was taking and immediately stopped. Over time, the symptoms have subsided. If you use a reliable website to investigate the individual ingredients in each of the various types of products Host Defense offers, you will quickly realize that there is very little to no conclusive studies indicating a benefit. I tried to contact Host Defense to return unopened packages of the product and they declined. Don't buy from companies that don't stand by their products!

No. I find that hard to believe. If anything, maybe they had an allergic reaction. If you research mushrooms, you will find a lot of research has been done showing mushrooms are very effective in treating many ailments, including cancer. This particular product has an excellent reputation and I've been using it on and off for years.

How would the capsules and the liquid extract compare?The extract box suggests 2 servings of 1 ml/day and the capsule box suggests 1 serving of 2 capsules/day. the price/day is about the same.
