      These are my trick to staying cool under pressure.
      A coworker told me about these little babies and I've never turned back. They really help with my anxiety in conjunction with my Prozac. Work can get tense and these help with taking the edge off.

      Feel like a brand new person in less than 2 months
      The first time I bought this product was during rush hour traffic on one of our busiest roads. I quickly turned into a Vitamin Shoppe parking lot, went inside, and told the cashier that I can not drive in that traffic! She told me to follow her so I did. She took me to the shelf where the L Theanine was and told me to try this product since it worked for her.       L-Theanine is great!
      I follow a certain regimine, and this is one of the items at 100mg per day which can either be taken all at once or seperately to make 100mg per day. This type of supplement is actually included in a number of energy drinks, and helps you to relax and yet promotes focus. It is supposed to help one be able to deal with anxiety issues. It can be found in green tea and certain mushrooms, however if you are worried about additives in these things, and wish to make sure you get 100mg per day, perhaps the supplement pills are the best way.

      L-Theanine is not for me!
      My doctor has recommended meds for my ADHD and I've heard so many wonderful things about L-Theanine and the "calm but alert" feeling it gives. I'd rather not take meds initially, but go the natural route. I started with 100 mg and it knocked me out cold! I'm 5'2" and 110 lbs. I was more irritable then ever and three days later I had to quit taking this supplement. Since I've been off, I'm back to my old figidity self, but not as "out there" as on L-Theanine.

      L-Theanine
      A few years ago when the economy took a toll on our business I experienced extreme stress, anxiety and depression. For a couple of years I was on RX drugs which I really did not like or want to be on.

      I am happy to say that the VS L-Theanine combined with 5-HTP really helped with my symptoms and I am now drug free. I continue to take these products and I am happy with my results. I take 1 100 mg of 5-HTP in the morning and one at night. The 5 HTP helps me keep a positive mood.

      Absolutely does reduce anxiety, as well as or better than any prescription med I've used. Adjust dosage to your needs - you can take more tha one. I take four for insomnia, and they really relax me.

      PTSD
      I started looking at alternative medicine when I realized that the anti-anxiety medication I was given for my PTSD was a highly addictive benzodiazepine. L-theanine has proven very helpful in controlling anxiety. Thanks to a combination of vegetarian vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and essential fatty acids, I was able to get off all pharmaceutical medications and have been drug free for over two years.

      This product does not say that it uses the Suntheanine brand. Do you find there to be a difference between Suntheanine and brands of L-theanine that are not Suntheanine?

      Best Answer:  Okay, I was told by a nutritionist at a well known and long-established vitamin store/compounding pharmacy in NYC that theanine all comes from one supplier and all the vitamin companies do is package it their own way with their own additives. I don't know if this helps, since I don't know what suntheanine is.

      Best Answer:  No it will not cause drowsiness. You can take it any time of day. It helps clear your mind of racing thoughts and can help you focus during the day. At bedtime it will help you fall asleep without racing thoughts. It's very safe. It is good if one is slightly anxious and can help calm your mind.
