Not what it used to be
Have taken Vitamin shoppe magnesium glycinate for over a year. It helped with anxiety and sleep. Recently I noticed a change in the appearance of the soft gel. Usually take one before bed and have noticed horrible headaches as well as a major laxative effect. Not sure what they have done but will not be auto subscribing to this any longer. What a shame.

Questionable Quality
Prior to purchasing these magnesium glycinate supplements, I was using Nutricost. When I switched I noticed a significant decline in my sleep quality, as well as I was having a lot less dreams. I don't think this supplement is good quality and I wouldn't recommend.

Capsules too large
I saw a difference in my muscles and sleep after the first night. I have fibromyalgia and function much better with mag glycinate (I take 1 at night along with 1 mag citrate). The capsules are slightly larger than the tablets, making them too hard for me to swallow. It's easy to cut the tablets in half (the bottle doesn't say not to so it should be ok) but the capsules would be too messy and taste bad.

Excellent product!
This product is miraculous, it helps you with many functions of your body, but the ones that I have been able to notice greatly have been, to help me with muscle spasms in my back, helps against constipation, calmer during the day, in conjunction with potassium me It helps enormously to have a better quality of sleep, etc?

Why did you choose this?
Why is it the 240 count recommendation is 4 capsules per day and the 90 count recommendations are 2 capsules per day? Can you please help me understand why this is?
From what I can read from the product info, there is 400 mg in 2 tablets whereas the capsules have 400 mg in 4 capsules. You get the same in the amount of magnesium per serving whether you chose the 90 count tablets or 240 count capsules. Which one you pick is just preference. I personally take the capsules because I take 3 capsules at 300 mg/day versus the 400mg/day.
The 240 count has capsules and the 90 count are tablets, I believe the tablets are bigger in size so you only need 2.
