About This Product

The MRE protein line is built off the premise that ‘real food protein is the most important fuel you can give your body.’ Compared to the original MRE, MRE LITE is a low carb meal replacement shake and is a delicious way to up your protein intake without the added calories or carbohydrates. Formulated without whey protein, MRE LITE has 26g protein per serving and a macronutrient profile ideal for post workout or any time of day when you need extra protein. And unlike whey alternatives, MRE LITE has a thicker, more milkshake-like texture that mixes easily and mixes perfectly. Plus, with no whey protein, the formula is incredibly gentle on your stomach, easy to digest, and does not result in bloating commonly associated with whey protein.

Customers review summary

The MRE Lite Hostess Cupcakes protein powder delights customers with a nostalgic cupcake flavor and a creamy center. It mixes smoothly, has minimal chalky aftertaste, and offers roughly 26 grams of protein, 120 calories, and zero sugar, which makes it versatile for shakes and recipes. A minority of customers note formula changes or artificial sweetness and mixing issues, yet most call it satisfying and easy on the stomach.

good vanilla protein
I usually buy this when there is a sale. It's a good value for what you get. I like the taste of it. I mix it with water. It also has a lower calorie higher protein ratio, which I try to incorporate in my diet.

Decent but not quite twinkies .
It was closer to a lite vanilla with a hint of butterscotch . I might buy it again but so far vanilla and cookies & cream have been my favorte . Still need to try banana lite bread .

Never disappoints
Taste like banana bread! Flavor is spot on. The MRE lite series has always had a great flavor profile. It's not chalky and goes with anything; Baked oats, Ninja Creami, straight water?you name it it can be done with this powder.
