I am enclosing a quote from Wikipedia: "It is a natural analgesic and antiseptic used primarily in dentistry for its main ingredient eugenol. It can also be purchased in pharmacies over the counter, as a home remedy for dental pain relief, mainly toothache."A Google search will turn up lots of good information about uses of Clove Oil especially as used as a home remedy for toothaches.

Clove oil has been known to aid in the relief of tooth ache. It has both pain relieving and antibiotic qualities.Because clove oil can be harsh and irritate sensitive gums, I think it best to dilute with a small amount of another mild oil. I personaly use olive oil. You can put a small amount of the mixture on a cotton ball, and place it on the tooth in distress.

As far as I know, yes it is. I make a tincture of clove oil, oregano oil and olive oil and put it in a dropper bottle and use it for prevention and at the onset of colds/infections. There are a lot of vids/recipes on clove oil and other oils on utube.

Yes! I used cotton swab with few drops of clove oil near my tooth areas for temporary pain reduce. However, be careful when use it; you will feel a bit of burn when it touch your oral skin. Just use water to reduce the pain.

Yes, dilute and apply with cotton swab. It is also good on red ant stings, mosquito bites and other itchy, inflamed skin. Do not use on open wounds.

good question..but I really do not know the answer..i searched on you-tube for different uses with clove oil, and since I sometimes us oregano oil for colds, etc, I found a herbalist that gives a lot of great info on making your own remedeys. I ordered a dropper bottle and a spray bottle from VS and made my own oils and room freshener and 'cologne'..clove oil and thyme have great benefits according to the 'experts' in essential oils..hope this helps.

I did not purchase this item for a blood purifier. I bought it to mix in a vit E cream base with other oils (peppermint, eucalyptus, dmso, camphor, ) for my aches and pains in the joints. Google the internet and you should be able to find uses for the oil...sorry I don't have an answer for you.

Sorry, I don't know; I bought the clove oil for my gums. I can just suggest that maybe Googling your question might bring you some answers. That's where I found out that clove oil should help the gums.

It states for "Aromatherapy Use" but does that mean "ONLY"?? Is this to be digested into the human body; on your gums, teeth, in water, etc. We need more clarification on what this oil is used for and how to use it specifically.
