Best Answer: I am enclosing a quote from Wikipedia: "It is a natural analgesic and antiseptic used primarily in dentistry for its main ingredient eugenol. It can also be purchased in pharmacies over the counter, as a home remedy for dental pain relief, mainly toothache."
A Google search will turn up lots of good information about uses of Clove Oil especially as used as a home remedy for toothaches.

Best Answer: good question..but I really do not know the answer..i searched on you-tube for different uses with clove oil, and since I sometimes us oregano oil for colds, etc, I found a herbalist that gives a lot of great info on making your own remedeys. I ordered a dropper bottle and a spray bottle from VS and made my own oils and room freshener and 'cologne'..clove oil and thyme have great benefits according to the 'experts' in essential oils..hope this helps.

It states for "Aromatherapy Use" but does that mean "ONLY"?? Is this to be digested into the human body; on your gums, teeth, in water, etc. We need more clarification on what this oil is used for and how to use it specifically.
