Anything that's produced in a facility that processes those ingredients on the same equipment or doesn't physically isolate known allergens has to say that since there's a very slight chance of cross contamination.

  hello. sorry but we never saw the drink at all. we were buying it for a little boy whose mother could not afford this drink, which was about the only 'food' he could digest at that time. so it was always delivered directly to her, not us ... mike and jean

  I haven't used this product since I started making my own shakes due to dairy intolerance. However, if you go to the manufacturer's website, you will see that all of their products are soy-free. I'd suggest you contact them with the labeling concern.

  Not sure why it says that it contains soy--I just checked the ingredients and soy is not listed. Perhaps it is processed in a plant that processes other products that contain soy?

  Kathleen. I am not an expert but my drink does not have any anything stating that it contains soy.

  I have looked all over a container I have and no where does it state it has soy in it.

  The tetrapak I have in my hand says No Soy. It does say contains milk.

  Joseph, I would not recommend Orgain as I have come to find out that Orgain has carrageenan in it which seems to cause ulcerations in the colon. My colon doctor warned me about carrageenan and the devastating results for some of his patients. I was taking this product by the case, for several years, and I too had the result of ulcerations in the colon. Carrageenan is in many products including most almond milks. So beware!
I would highly recommend a product called PLANT FUSION which comes in various flavors. It is an excellent high protein drink. It comes in powder form and can be mixed with water, juice, milk or make a smoothie with it.
I don't drink Insure as I have done much reading on good nutrition and these ingredients do not fit the description of that which is good and healthy for us plus they are full of sugar. Hope this helps. We need to keep our bodies strong and healthy. and sugars and carrageenan, we are told, weaken them.

  I have never had Insure. I can tell you that Orgain would be better for you because it is also a meal replacer BUT it is also Organic. I drink 2 of them a day, one for breakfast and one lunch, then have a regular dinner. My personal favorite is the Café Mocha flavor. Hope this helps:)

Her doctor wants her to maintain her weight and she likes the taste of this drink. Has a lot of vitamins and minerals in it too. My mom lives in her own house and sometimes doesn't like to cook a meal for only herself and this is a good snack.

(a long distance friend of a friend of ours, who we never got to know personally). it was the only 'food her son would eat for quite a while, at least apparently he enjoyed it.

  Well it has organic alkalized cocoa listed in ingredients (7th down the list). I believe cocoa has some caffeine naturally.
I did a quick Google search (no affiliation and did not read article) on "organic alkalized cocoa have caffeine" and found an article that said 4 milligrams per tablespoon.
