Why did you choose this?

100 capsules over 60 veg capsules is a better deal

I was using it and ran out.

It works well for me

It's the right stuff

Is this considered to be enteric coated? I see many of the same ingredients with those that are.
Thanks

Best Answer:  By looking at the actual tablet, it appears to be enteric-coated (pale yellow coating). When I break the tablet in half, the texture of the interior is slightly more chalky than the exterior, so that also leads me to believe it is coated. I have had not stomach issues or absorption issues from taking this brand of P-5-P and highly recommend it.

Can I split the tablet in half?

Best Answer:  Yes, I always split mine into (approximately) quarters using a large scissors (carefully!).
I can't take large amounts of B6 due to MTHFR gene disorder, and it must be this P-5-P form (not the common pyridoxine form). I take a quarter of one of these every couple or few days.

How big is the tablet?

Best Answer:  About 1/4 in diameter

Is this synthetic?

Best Answer:  This is a synthetically made Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate.

country of origin?

Best Answer:  Sorry, I don't know. That would be a question for the manufacturer.

Does this product contain 34 mg of P5P, or actually 50 mg?
I'm wondering if anybody has experienced sun sensitivity while taking this supplement? It's reported in some references as causing phototsensitivity, but I don't know how people taking this might feel.

I'd appreciate any help.
