Was perfect-they discontinued my other brand
This probiotic was perfect. Very easy on the stomach. Pleasant strawberry flavor. Not chalky. Very effective and my stomach is back in balance. Am glad I found this on-line - The Vitamin Shoppe Probiotic.

This product says it does nt contain wheat however it does not say it is gluten free. Does anyone know if this is gluten free?

Best Answer:  Essentially, probiotics should be refrigerated to keep the strain alive, but the bottle suggests a cool, dry place. I also take 2 to 3 tablets a day, so realistically shelf life has not been an issue. I have kept them in both fridge and a cooler area in a cabinet. I cannot imagine having a bottle with the dosage recommended to last longer than 3 1/2 months. In my experience with probiotics, consistency merits the best results!

Best Answer:  It doesn't state that it needs refrigeration but I always keep mine in the fridge. In the store it is located on the shelf & not in the fridge. My kids have always done great with this probiotic & it even helps my occasional tummy aches.

Best Answer:  I have given these to our children (we have six children ages 1,3,10,11,12 and 14) on and off for many years to help with stomach issues and to help with immune system boosting. I even broke them in half and put them in baby bottles. We have had no side effects from these probiotics, they are great for youth and adults.

Best Answer:  I can't 100% answer, but it says on the bottle "No artificial sweetener, no color/flavor, no preservatives, no milk, no lactose, no soy, no gluten, no wheat, no fish, sodium free. Hope that may help you!

yes you can. Me & my husband had as many as 3 tablets. Tastes really good too. Helps to digest my food & heart burn. These tablets are very similar to yogurt, so take as many as you would like, just don't overdue it. Hope I helped.

Best Answer:  My bottle says no artificial colors. Ingredients are: Lactobacillus, Sucrose, fructose, natural strawberry flavor, vegetable stearic acid, magnesium stearate, silica, and citric acid.

Can I give these to my kids or do I need to buy kid probiotics? I have purchased some in the past I can't remember what kind it was but it had a yellow flip top to get the chewables out.

Best Answer:  I have given these to my three boys for years. I have a 12, 9 and 1 year old. I break it up for the one year old. We just stopped giving him a powder probiotic in yogurt, recently. The other two have been taking them since they were much younger. We have never had any ill issues with them. In fact my older two ask for them when they have a tummy ache (eating too much or a bug). Hope this helps.
