Must have for Optimum Health
I take these every day, especially when I travel. Keeps those untimely stomach troubles to a minimum and by keeping the gut healthy it improves your immune system. It's difficult to always eat healthy while traveling and I've found taking these nightly keeps my body in a "regular" routine. If I could only take 1 supplement a day, this would be it. They're that good!

The Best Probiotic I have found
I have tried many different kinds of probiotics with varying prices for chronic diarrhea and mucus discharge. Most have been expensive and must be refrigerated to protect the live cultures. And even with careful handling I have found they don't work for me. Pearls IC is very economical and easy to use. I have found that it works very well for me because of the hard pearl coating. You don't have to refrigerate and it comes in blister packaging which allows me to travel easily with them. It completely resolves my symptoms taking one three times a day. I can take it at any time with or without food and it does not upset my stomach. The pills are super tiny and so easy to swallow. I appreciate the effort that has gone into these little pills. They work!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I had to write a review because I am simply amazed. I am 7 months pregnant and have had a bad yeast infection (the worst iv ever experienced) going on 3 months. The first month my OB gave me the 1 day antibiotic. I think it helped in the beginning but by my next fu it was back.I had a hard time with insurance covering it the second time and was to busy to fight so I let it go. Its been so so bad and i thought let me try this probiotic since i have heard great things I have been taking for only 4 days and my discharged has gone down about 70% as of yesterday (day 3). Im simply amazed and sooo Happy.

Didn't protect me.
I have been taking this product for 1 year. I even put my special needs son on it because I thought it was a good product. I took an antibiotic for strep, and the Pearl did not protect me from the Candida overgrowth while on the antibiotic. I had to get Diflucan.

Best Answer:  I didn't find that it helped with bowel movement, no. (Especially not if you're looking for something like what Activia Yogurt claims to do.) I took them to help restore intestinal flora which balances the overall body systems and for me, decreases any kind of yeast or fungal infections and helps keep colds & flu at bay. I chose this particular strain, Pearls IC, because it had a probiotic that was supposed to help with anxiety. I generally use Pearls as opposed to other forms of probiotic because they are able to survive stomach acids and get into the intestines, which is where they are most needed and utilized. Hope this helps. :0)
