Stinks
So it works, makes me sleepy but will never buy valerian again, this stuff smells terrible! I think it's the valerian root that smells like dirty wet dog, have to gag it down! Beware if you're sensitive to smells and tastes.

A must try
Initially I thought these pills didn't work. But after taking them consecutively after a few days I was completely amazed by how much they helped me sleep. I was on ambian for years and struggled so hard finding things to help me sleep but these sleep support pills definitely do the trick. I take 2 pills before bed and within 1 hour/hour and half I'm knocked out. I also love that I don't wake up feeling groggy on these pills. The only thing I don't like about these pills is they have a gross smell but I just get over it and take them because they truly do help me sleep. I highly recommend these pills to anyone but also in the beginning if you feel like their not working take them consecutively for the week because that's what I had to do and they worked !

A little disappointed...
A little disappointed with the product.
I'm new to the world of sleep aids and was hopeful with this product. I read the reviews which seemed encouraging. My 1st experience, I woke up mid morning (3am) with a headache that lasted throughout the morning. (even after taking ibuprofen) Day 2, didn't have the same effect falling asleep, it took a while, although this time I did not get a headache. Day 3, tossed & turned for quite a while. Although sleep was consistent. (Which is my normal) So overall, not what I expected or hoped. The smell is as mentioned in other reviews, but not an issue, just wouldnt suggest opening the bottle and taking a big whiff.. ??

Miss Snooze Right
I miss snooze right. It did not have melatonin in the active ingredients. Melatonin supplements are very well documented to reduce your own melatonin supplements, thus making you more likely to need supplementation. It's basically how steroids affects your testosterone levels

Great supplement
This is the best sleep supplement I've tried yet. Puts me to sleep and helps me stay asleep. The valerian root causes a stinky odor but it doesn't leave a bad taste.

No wonder they're on sale. Horrible.
Horrible, no wonder it was 50% off at my local vitamin shoppe. Made my wife and I both nauseous, kept us up the whole night and felt horrible the next day. Not to mention the pills smell like sour feet.

Deeper Sleep, All Night
The Vitamin Shoppe Sleep Support has been a game-changer for my sleep struggles. For over four years, it's helped me overcome midnight awakenings and racing thoughts. Excellent product
I tried this product after sadly discontinuing another one.
I am happy I found this because it does a wonderful job at keeping me asleep and I feel well rested the next day.
If folks are wondering about the odor, this is because thus product has Valerian in it. A wonderful but smelly ingredient. No need to be alarmed, completely normal :)

Works but smelly
It seems to relaxing me and help me fall asleep sooner. Not real sure if it's helping me stay asleep. I must say, this stinks like dirty feet. Idk what ingredient makes it smell like that, but it's smelly.

Is this safe to take if you are on blood pressure medicine?

Best Answer:  Nothing in Sleep Support should elevate blood pressure. I've used it about 6 months after trying quite a few different things and it works great. I've used several of the ingredients separately, but this was the first product that I found them together. I've had no issues with any increase in blood pressure and being sensitive to medications it is something I check when starting something new. Hope this helps.

Is it supposed to have a funky smell, almost like sour mop? I know some supplements have a not so great smell so I just want to make sure this is normal for them and they aren't spoiled or something.

Best Answer:  Yes, this supplement uses no flavoring or other masking of smell, so the raw ingredients would sometimes give off a scent.
