Good for knee joints, 72 years old with diabetes type 2
This is very good, it helps my mom for her knee joints she has osteoarthritis. She feels less pain. My mom is 72 years old with diabetes type 2, and takes medicine for cholesterol and blood pressure. My mom would react to Boswellia or glucosamine and chondroitin, causing a full body rash or coughing using other supplements. But this one she takes 1 pill every third day (one day yes, one day not) to avoid reacting to boswellia.

Solgar No 7 Joint Support is effective at keeping my joints supple and pain free, I use it along with balancing omega 3,6,9 within my diet. One pill per day that is easy to swallow is very convenient. It is a high quality supplement.

I'm vegan with food allergies and I'm athletic with a physically demanding job, I've used these for years and highly recommend than. They are worth the cost of you can't take shellfish supplements

Wonderful!
This is amazing!! I am getting older and work retail, and that means I'm on my feet for 9+ hours a day. I have been experiencing knee pain lately and did some research on supplements to help me.   I suffer from GERD which I take 40mg protonix daily. I take solgar 7 every morning for knee joint pain. I had my right knee replaced Dec 2013. I continue to take s7 for the left knee. I have found that if I miss the s7 due to running out that the kneejoint pain flares up. Solgar 7 works for me have taken since introduced to vitamin Shoppe. My brother who works at a VS in Michigan told me about it. It is the only thing I take for old joint pain. Good luck.

  I discovered that gastrointestinal problems are not uncommon for this type of vitamin (this also includes other brands). Since I already have gastrointestinal problems, I decided not to take these vitamins after I had placed the order. I hope this helps as what you indicate confirms what I had found out from other sources and not personal experience.

  I have had absolutely no problems taking Solgar No. 7. I have a glass of Vitamixer juice every morning and eat organic yogurt every day so my gut seems to be healthy. I take No. 7 with my dinner every night, which often includes meat. The Osteo Bi Flex contains shellfish which could be an issue for some people.

  I have never had that problem with any of the Solgar products. I am currently using their Osteo Bi Flex, I accidently ordered it instead of the Solgar 7. I take my vitamins first thing in the morning and usually eat about 30 minutes after--I have had no problems with any Solgar brand products--Carlee

  I also have GERD and I have been taking these for several months without any symptomology of the GERD. No reflux, no burning. The Solgar #7 never gives me any troubles. Start with the smallest jar. Good luck!

Sounds like a good product...until I read the ingredients and saw "chicken collagen." The package says vegetable capsules, but unfortunately this product isn't suitable for vegetarians. Can this product be remade, for vegetarians?

Is this product vegan? My understanding is that it contains chicken bones. Also, is this safe for a dog to take?

  It is not vegan. It contains STANDARDIZED CHICKEN COLLAGEN, which you could notice under supplemental facts of any product. I would not give this to a dog--not sure how white willow bark would effect animals.
