You at supposed to take Kre-Alkalyn on a daily basis. So what I do is on my workout days I mix three scoops with my pre workout and on my off day, I mix it with one of my protein shakes. With the pre workout I use water but the protein can go either way.

  Its a matter of preference u can mix it with water, milk or juice totally up to you

  It depends, but usually I put two scoops into my pre work out mix, which has about 10oz of water. If I don't do that, than I just scoop it right into my mouth and drink some water with it.

  I cannot tell or advise you how to take any supplement. However, I use it two ways 1) During moderate training periods of going to the gym 3 times a week just for resistance training I will take a dose 30 min before workouts and with my recovery supplement. Intense training periods I take daily doses, one upon waking and one before workouts. Again this is not my recommendation for you, only the way I use this product. Before taking any supplement you should seek the advice or counsel of a Doctor or Registered Dietician.

I am a professional powerlifter and have taken probably every version or type of creatine since I began taking it in 1993- before it was even well-known in the United States.

Answer: definitely powder!.. It's really all about the amount: for creatine to be effective, you need 5-10 g / day minimum to get noticeable gains from it; I take 20-30 g / day with no ill-effect on blood lab results and about 15 years of nearly constant use- it's very safe if you otherwise healthy.
Just look at the dose that one pill delivers, probably less than a gram, and for certain, waaaayyyy more expensive and no more effective than powder (your gut melts the capsule in about 1 sec so you're basically taking the powder anyways. Creatine has no taste so it's not really hard to throw the powder in nearly any flavored drink (I put 20 g in my after-workout shake and I'm set for the day).
Only other caveat would be if you have stomach issues with creatine monohydrate, you may have to consider other types, be strong!

  They are essentially the same thing. I have both, and I use the powder if I have time to mix it in a shake or some juice, and I take the pill if I don't feel like taking the time to mix up a shake or since I'm on a pretty tight schedule, I take the pills with me to work and take them an hour before I get off so it's in my system before I get to the gym for my work out or going out to play ball. And the powder tends to get in and through your system just a little bit faster but overall the same feeling.
