300 MG works best for me

I used the triple strength, 900 mg for over a year, and had to stop because it gave me a bad case of diarrhea. The 300 mg strength works for me and I will continue to use it as part of my daily regimen.

Good, but incomplete

I got this Tumeric for inflamation which it is good for. I later learned that Tumeric is 20 times more effective with pepper added to it. So this *pure* mixture is lame, or I should have been pointed to a better version for me.

I thought I saw a warning somewhere when I placed my order for turmeric extract, that something about this product was known to cause cancer per the state of California. I now cannot find anything more about that warning. Can I get more information about that being all the reviews speak to it helping with cancer, not causing it?

I've been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu around 5 years and there's plenty of grip fighting. I feel like I have arthritis. Will this help with the soreness and swelling in the joints of my fingers?

We have used Turmeric for a little while. My husband starting using it specifically for reducing a swollen prostate. In research we found turmeric had high ratings of being good for that, plus it is very good to keep your body alkaline. One thing we do use for arthritis is Glucosamine/Chondrotin with Sulfate (or MSM). Not to say turmeric isn't also good for it, but we both can tell a big difference in arthritis with the Glu/Chon.

I am sorry to say that this product (Turmeric) didn't help my joints. I do feel it helps my circulation. My fingers and toes don't get cold as much as they did before taking Turmeric.

No, but this usually means you have a sensitivity to it. We are all different, so maybe you can't take this product. You might try a different brand of turmeric. Hope this helps!

Does it help with anxiety?

Turmeric or Curcumin is an immune support supplement. For anxiety try Ashwaganda, Rhodiola or anything with GABA in it. I am currently trying these for anxiety and so far the Ashwaganda seems to work best but be sure it's a good quality at least 500 mgs. Recommend talking to a health professional prior to taking.

I believe that it does help me. The trick is to take enough, divided throughout the day. Two-three caps 3 X daily should help enough for you to notice.Ginger will also help, same advice. Fish oil helps, take six grams in divided doses.Glucosamine/Chondroitin may also help you.Turmeric is also an antioxidant along with being an anti-inflamatory. It is very good for the liver and will also cause cancer cell death (apoptosis) in growing tumors. Hoping for you to get the results you need. It won't be immediate but within a few weeks you should know. I even give it to my older German Shepherd.

Lourdes,Turmeric appears to have some natural anti-inflammatory properties so can help with swelling and irritation in the joints. It can also help with some digestive issues. Some people seem to experience some relief and some don't. We use it ourselves and also for our arthritic dog. It is considered unsafe during pregnancy in large doses and MAY also cause decreased blood clotting. As always, it's a good idea to consult with your doctor. Tom

Hi Lourdes,It definitely seems to help me - I also take Pycnogenol & Glucosamine and bio-cell collagen supplements. I have a very bad knee and bad ankles and with regular use of these supplements I have less swelling and pain. Don't know which one does the trick or if they all contribute a little, I just know the combo works!
