This product was recommended to me by our veterinarian after my cat had surgery several years ago. It not only helps cats heal, it is also great for their skin and coat.Add a small amount to their food in the AM. Wonderful product.

I have two cats, 8 months old, that I give Feline Omega 3 to. They LOVE it. I pour it on top of their hard food and watch them come running. I have also seen a difference in the texture and luster of their fur since using this product.

my vet recently gave me fish oil for my 13yr old male cat , was wondering if anyone has tried this and how it works on felines, thanks?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Jul 16, 2014
Best Answer: Omega oil works the same on cats and dogs as it does on humans. It helps lubricate the joints, makes the skin clear and the coat shiny, helps keep the muscles healthy, etc. In other words, it helps with general health and appearance. The older an animal gets, the more they need a little more help than just their food to keep them moving and feeling good.

I started my bengal kitten on this when he was 8 weeks old. He's really picky about what he eats and decides when he wants to have his fish oil. I put a few drops on a piece of his raw chicken.

My other five cats are older and love their fish oil.

What are the ingredients? Is it just Omega 3 or is it a multi?
              Nancy W on Aug 27, 2013
Best Answer: It has Crude Fat min 94%,Moisture max. 0.1%, Vit E min. 15 iu,Omega 3 EPA min 184 mg, DHA min 112mg

My cat has early numbers indicating kidney disease. There is no treatment so I am hoping this will at least keep the numbers from rising for a year or two where she will be at the age when this would be expected. I have no other option. Hope this helps.
