Terrible Shipping Service
The shipping service is awful. We ordered 2 weeks ago and seven days the shipping update stated we would receive "tomorrow". We are still waiting and the latest update is again, tomorrow.

Carlson Super Omega-3 500 mg EPA & DHA
I have been taking this supplement for over 5 years - my Doctor told me to take 2 in am and 2 in pm to control my cholesterol and it works wonderful.

Awful fish smell and aftertaste
Have been buying the 100 + 30 capsule Carlson fish oil for years with no complaints. This last order I had to order the 250 capsule bottle. I thought I would be getting the same quality, but this bottle has been awful - very fishy smelling and after taste. I will order one more time, but if the next bottle is the same, I will be looking for another brand.

Carlson Meets the Requirements
After being diagnosed with a coronary artery blockage, I received a stent and went under the ongoing care of a cardiologist. He prescribed omega-3 fish oil on a daily basis. When I showed him the specifications for the Carlson Super Omega-3, he said it was the perfect match. I have been taking two gels each day ever since, and the results have been great. The cardiologist is very pleased, and needless to say, I am delighted!

Best Answer:  As for me I've always bought the Softgels (as the nurse practitioner suggested). Therefore I can't say that there is a difference between Gems and Softgels. Good luck!
