Works well, more convenient than liquid.

I have been taking Tart Cherry in a liquid form for several years and I have found that it helps with inflammation especially when take at night before bed. This is a pill form that I can take several times a day and seems to work as well as the liquid and it's more convenient since it does not require refrigeration.

Great for sleeping better

I take Tart Cherry before I go to bed on the evening. It helps me fall
asleep faster and stay asleep. The Vitamin Shoppe also has Tart Cherry
juice which works the same. I have given several friends this tip and they
use it and sleep better.

It works!

I've been taking this product for many years because gout is part of my family medical history. Even if I overdo my gout attacks are almost nonexistent. A little swelling and that's it!

I've been taking Vitamin Shop Tart Cherry for more than a year. The capsules were always pink. I bought a bottle a few months ago and the capsules were almost black. I took that bottle back and exchanged it for a bottle with a different batch number and expiration date. When I opened those capsules, they were grey. Has anybody had any trouble with these capsules being grey or black instead of pink?

Best Answer: Tart or “sour” cherries and the unsweetened juice of tart cherries contain anthocyanin and other compounds that naturally mediate the inflammatory process. Reducing inflammation also reduces the pain associated with inflammation. Tart cherries contain compounds which modulate numerous pathways to protect against other conditions associated with inflammation side effects. Tart cherries are one of the top 50 foods for highest antioxidant content per serving, surpassing such well-known antioxidant sources as red wine and dark chocolate. My wife takes tart cherry juice and capsules to relieve pain from osteoarthritis. I use tart cherry capsules to lower the concentration of uric acid in my blood which was a source of my gout. I have not had an “attack” of gout since I began taking them 3 years ago.

Best Answer: My husband and I take all 3 at once, but I don't think it wod make a difference to spread it out. The most important thing we found is making sure to take it every day consistently to reap the most benefits. We love this product.

Best Answer: Not chewable. I would say it is mid-size. Take it with plenty of water. I've had no problems with consuming it...and it really does work if you have seasonal gout in your feet. Give it two weeks if you've never taken it before and a difference will be readily apparent.

Does this product help if you have problems sleeping. I understood this products aids in sleep, does it really work for someone who has difficult sleeping?

Best Answer: No this product will not help you sleep. It works great for sore joints, arthritis, etc. My husband and I both use it and swear by it. The aches that come with just getting older pretty much go away when we are on this. If you need something to help you sleep I strongly recommend Cheribundi tart cherry juice. Unfortunately, Vitaminshoppe doesn't sell it but you can get it online from Cheribundi or at Whole Foods stores. I have problems sleeping just because I can't unwind. This tart cherry juice helps me fall asleep and go back to sleep if I wake up in the middle of the night. I tried other tart cherry juices and Cheribundi is hands down the best.
