Improved my health
No longer have to take thyroid meds from my doctor since choosing healthy foods that support thyroid health and taking this supplement. This supplement is more expensive then the medication and not covered by my insurance plan is the only down fall but it works much better. Health care needs to change!

Love this stuff - really works
Love this stuff. My energy is back. It's not the kind of energy I get from coffee, either. It's my normal energy I used to have. And as for selenium causing hair loss, I've never heard of such a thing and I've not experienced it, either. My guess is that something else is going on. Maybe you have an electrical junction box near you at home or work. Graphite paint will help with that.

But, Selenium can cause hair loss and this has a high amount.
I have this and I am reluctant to take it because high amounts of selenium do cause hair loss. I am having trouble with hair loss so do not want to risk it. My son lost his hair at an alarming rate until he stopped the selenium and then his hair grew back.

I stopped PORCINE thyroid supplement
3-years ago I stopped taking PORCINE thyroid supplement. I got mad because I had to do $1,300 worth of lab work every 3 months. And I had to pay the doctor $400 every 3 months. EMERALD LABORATORIES THYROID HEALTH is a BARGAIN, and my weight remains stable because I'm Not Thinking About Food All Of The Time! I have a confirmed case of Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (hypothyroidism) AND I also take MethylFolate (technically methyltetrahydrofolate) is the body’s most active form of folate because my body can't process folate, which was proven by a genetic lab test.

Is there iodine in this product?

Best Answer:  Yes, but not enough. I have been taking Iodoral for years for symptoms of low thyroid, with excellent results. Now my TSH level for some reason is significant, from 3.5 to 5.5 to 7.8 to 9.99, so I started with this Emerald labs three weeks ago, this only has 150 mcg, compared to the 5mg in iodoral. Hope this helps
