About This Product

Natrol® Melatonin TR 5mg is 100% vegetarian and offers a biphasic delivery system which releases melatonin quickly to help you fall asleep fast and then steadily to help you stay asleep all night. Melatonin helps establish normal sleep patterns to promote a more restful, relaxing sleep and better overall health. The body naturally produces melatonin and Vitamin B6 is essential for melatonin production.

Directions

Adults, take 1 tablet 30 minutes before bedtime.

Secret to sleeping soundly all night!

I was taking 5mg Melatontin which worked but was limited in hours so I awoke & couldn't;t go back t sleep which as an issue due to my job. I found the extended release solved this completely!

Great Sleep!

This was my first attempt at taking Melatonin but it seems to help a lot! I don't usually have trouble falling asleep but I do have trouble staying asleep or getting deep sleep. I haven't noticed any side effects yet. I'd recommend to anyone who wants a more restful night of sleep.

Time Release Magic!

All of us with sleep issues know that Melatonin works to get asleep but the problem is early waking. Time release makes perfect sense and it does work. I've added several hours of good sleep to my nights. There are other time release products out there and I've tried several. Most are in lower doses and that just doesn't work for me. This product dissolves very well and works as expected.

Restful Nights

Would highly recommend this product, compared to other products Natrol, lets you go to sleep and stay sleep which is the benefit of this product. I would buy this product since compared to the other product like Nature Made and VitaFusion, this is cheaper and works better.

Great way to fall asleep naturally.

I was very surprised that this product would actually work but it did. I needed to take two tablets but after taking the two the results were so much better than just the one that you would normally take. Definitely helped me to relax.

Great Sleep Aid

Is this product chewable?

Best Answer: These are small tablets--they can actually melt under your tongue--so yes they are chewable. But the issue is whether they work. I Chose These because I had read that if you take Melatonin and still wake up during the night (which I did) try time-released Melatonin.

This product made me tired very fast but I still woke up during the night!!!! The bottle says that if you take a full tablet, be prepared to sleep for a full 8 hours, yet I woke up after only 3!!!!

Best Answer: I've always had poor results with regular ( non time release) melatonin, as it never kept me asleep the whole night. This was the first time release melatonin I came across in my 4 or 5 years using the product. It works wonderfully, it takes about 30 minutes from ingestion to feel drowsy and then pretty much knocks me out from there into a restful sleep. However there are some caveats, and these would apply to any type of melatonin really; once the melatonin is ingested do your best to keep your eyes from being in contact with light even if that means going to the bathroom with only a flashlight or night light ( melatonin, natural or synthetic is "deactivated" when light tpuches our eyes). Another caveat is alcohol, don't expect this to work after consuming alcohol. I also don't recommend taking more than the directed dose as it can make you groggy and cause headache the next day.

Best Answer: Most melatonin labels do not recommend melatonin for children. However, my autistic grandson's DAN doctor suggested melatonin for him in spray form when he was around 2 years old and it worked very well for helping him to sleep. He was given doses according to his weight which was a much lower dose. Hope this helps.

Why is there B6 included in this product?

Best Answer: when you look on a vitimin chart you see that b6 is a sleep aid. .....so i'm sure since melatonin which we usually produce in our bodies younger doesn't produce it as we age......so putting the two together in one tablet just makes me believe we now have a tablet or pill which gives us the max assistance in sleeping. I'm a big guy so i take 4 tablets to get it to work for me all natural.
