Apparently orders are not reviewed prior to shipping
I ordered Calcium Citrate + Vitamin D, 240 tablets, but was instead shipped Calcium Capsules 1000mg, 100 softgels. I cannot tolerate Calcium Carbonate and cannot take what was shipped to me. I am irritated that I now must make a special trip to the Temecula store in hopes that they will exchange the wrongly shipped item for the correct one. It is very clear on the shipping insert and on my order that I did not order calcium carbonate or softgels.

Calcium citrate plus vitamin b
I have malabsorption due to surgery so do not tolerate calcium carbonate. I also live in an area where vitamin D deficiency is common. I find the subject calcium-vitamin D supplement to be just what I need.
I would like to see the number of capsules needed for daily dosage reduced from 4/day, but really don?t know if that?s viable.

A very good product. I need to take a calcium supplement, and my doctor suggested that it be accompanied with vitamin D, which helps in its absorption.

Best Answer:  Most vitamins are better taken with food, they are absorbed better and are more likely not to bother your digestion. Splitting the dosage to one in the morning and one at noon or nite is preferable also.

Does this product have magnesium in it? I am allergic to magnesium and I am trying to find a calcium pill that does not contain magnesium.

Best Answer:  Yes.Under 'other ingredients' it is listed as magnesium stearate but it's listed as the fourth on a list of six (which in theory should contain less than the first, second, or third on the list). You ought to be able to pull up the label of these products online so you can see all the 'other ingredients ... I just can't remember how. Good luck.

Is this product vegan-compliant. Its predecessor product WAS vegan-compliant and suitably marked 'vegan', but this product has a conspicuous absence of the word 'vegan' - and the vegan consumer would THUS need to ASK for EXPLICIT ASSURANCE that the product is vegan-compliant.
