Best Answer:  Yes, you can take this twice a day, depending on the total dosage you want in a day. I like this product because it contains the very helpful biotin, and chromax (as chromium picolinate). I take 300 mg in the am and 300 at bedtime. Have for several years now.

I am a Vitamin Shoppe customer, and have been using their alpha lipoic acid.

After reading the label, I have to conclude that the product contains a racemic mixture or the R and S enantiomers. Probably in roughly equal proportions. Your body can use the R enantiomer, but will discard the S enantiomer.
