Best Vitamin C in the world. Used for over 11 years.
Every pill that is 100 mg will be this size, so for anyone saying it is a horse pill hard to swallow should break it up, or get 500 mg and take the dose you need. This is the BEST vitamin C ever. It is whole food and natural, not so much corn based like another user thought. I have been taking Ester-C for over 11 years with NO issues. I would not buy any other type of vitamin C. The recommended minimum is 2000 mg a day.

Horribly Huge pills
Unless you have a farm and need C's for your horses DO NOT buy this product! Unbelievable how huge these pills are! I would send them back but this would cost additional money already badly spent.

Good product
Good product. This pill is large. However I add them to my morning smoothie along with my other vitamins in my nutribullet instead of trying to swallow. The trick is to add it to the middle of your smoothie ingredients so the pills don?t get stuck at the bottom or the top. ??

ESTER C REVIEW
I wanted to try Ester C because other vit c products with ascorbic acid really upset and burn my digestive system. This one however, I thought to be pure, and then called to investigate and found out it is corn based...something I wanted to totally avoid. In addition it had a strong mold type taste and smell and I'm extremely sensitive to mold. I dont know if thats a quality control issue or what?? I won't buy it again, and in fact want a refund on this.

Horse Pills difficult to swallow
Even though the effectiveness might be good, the pills themselves are very large. It takes a lot of water to get them down. If you try cutting them in half or even biting them in half, you can get "sharp" edges. I even tried chewing them in my mouth but way too grainy even though it didn't taste particularly bad. This required even more water to swallow I accidentally ordered these instead of the capsules which have a high rating. Get capsules. That will be my next move.
