I just found out that this multivitamin is NOT vegan/vegetarian. Nature's Way CS told me that the Vitamin A Acetate in this is encapsulated with bovine (beef) and porcine (pork) gelatin. I told Nature's Way that they need to include this on the box/label/description b/c vegans/vegetarians need to know.

  No it does not. In fact I've been acne free for the last year, but I'm not saying it's because of this vitamin. Also it doesn't make you lose weight, but it's an excellent product for the health benefits. I do recommend this product, as opposed to their other formulas.

  I have been taking it for almost a year, and can assure you that it won't cause you acne. (How did you come up with that idea, anyways?)

  You should watch out for excess of some minerals (not sure which ones specifically) & fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, & K) ---All other Vitamins (C, B, etc..) are water-soluble, and extra will just be excreted out.

  From what I've been told, and looked into, those excessive amounts of vitamins aren't harmful. The excess that does not get used simply gets excreted out, giving urine that really bright yellow color. I believe there are certain minerals though (like iron) that should not be taken in such a high amount, though I'm not positive which other ones.
