This brought me back to life!

I am a vegetarian now for 4 years and have had a difficult time understanding everything my body needs without eating meat. I was constantly dizzy, fatigued and grouchy. A few things that have helped me are B-compex, wheatgrass and my protein shakes/bars. I have continued to workout and stubbornly keep meat off my plate, constantly looking for ways to feel myself again. I am no longer dizzy, my energy is high again and I can think clearly now! Mixes GREAT!

So far, so GREAT! I have been buying a VERY EXPENSIVE brand from my local Nutrishop store, and I loved it because it was tasteless and easy to mix. This brand is SO MUCH CHEAPER and it mixes nicely, and it has a pleasant taste (baking soda sweet), but nothing too awful! I never notice how effective Glutamine is - until I RUN OUT and I have to workout without it - I teach 4-6 Zumba and BodyPUMP classes each week, and I can feel SORE a most days...but not when I'm supplementing with glutamine. I am so grateful to find a supplement that is so effective and is super affordable. I'm more picky about my BCAA's however, because I want to make sure it has electrolytes mixed in it, so I spend a bit more on that supplement. But this glutamine is worth every penny!

If I had only one product .....

If I had on one product to buy from the Vitamin shoppe consistently amongst its myriad of high priced supplements(Cheaper than G....) it would be L-Glutamine its vital amino for recovery and brain function. This product mixes well in every thing and has sweet baking soda taste but its pleasant unlike BCAA's of all kind which if unflavored is difficult to get down. If your plan is to get brolic or swole or gain mass this aint it. It will recovery your muscles/bone to their healed stated. Like prior to training but they will feel tighter stronger more dense thats when you know you recovering. If you want size swole mass- CREATINE of any kind is the one if stack with NO2 supplements like arginine, agmatine, ornithine, citrulline, Beet Root Powder/Juice those are the Pumpers help to get your muscles more swole or blood flow. Thats what most guys who get hooked on the gym want that Pump, Swole, Vascularity.

Unflavored has flavor

The unflavored has flavor in it. I have bought this for a while and liked it. Then bought a refill at the store and had to return. I ordered it hoping it was a fluke, the one labeled "unflavored" has a distinct flavor that wasn't there before. Will have to go to a different brand.

I Like!!!

I take a teaspoon of this stuff directly without mixing it, usually about 30 - 45 minutes prior to my workout. This stuff has worked great. I notice minimal soreness and fast recovery the next day. I can get up and go hard again when using. Great product.
