      Frequently Asked Questions

      What are BCAAs?

Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) include leucine, isoleucine, and valine. They support muscle growth and reduce muscle fatigue.

What's the difference between whey protein isolate and concentrate?

Whey protein concentrate ranges from 70-80% protein, whereas whey protein isolate ranges from 90-95% protein. Combining whey protein isolate and concentrate results in the building blocks for metabolically active lean muscle tissue.

      Customers review summary
This is an AI generated summary of reviews and may include incentivized reviews. This summary pulls themes from recent reviews and may not reflect every individual experience.

The BodyTech whey protein powder appeals to customers with a range of approachable flavors and a nutrition profile comparable to premium brands. Smooth mixing in a shaker or blender, consistent protein per scoop, and the ability to blend with milk or fruit are features customers appreciate. A portion of customers report flavor inconsistencies and occasional clumping, yet most find it delivers reliable protein and blends into smoothies that are easy to drink.

Is this protein glutin free? If not, how much glutin? And if not, do you have a good whey protein that is glutin free. Shopping for my wife who prefers no glutin. But I will use it myself and prefer no soy.
      John GJan 6, 2015

Best Answer:  I'm not sensitive to gluten, so it's not a concern, but i do like to avoid processed soy. That's why I prefer the whey protein powder.

Should drink be for training or after training?
      A shopperJun 24, 2015

I drink it about 30-45 minutes before and add 10 g and BCAA and 5 g of creatine to. I also have one afterwards and add 5 - 10 g of Glutamine to it, and have some simple carbs also ( 1/2 - 1 cup white rice ) to refuel by carbs.

Its a protein supplement, so its not a pre or post workout drink. I would use it daily, whether you use before or after your workout would depend on you and the rest of your meal plan and fitness goals.

Both. An hour or two before with a good carb source like a sweet potato. Then after training with a quick carb source like a cup or two of juice for recovery.

Sorry but that is not entirely true. Back in 2007 there was a study done on their womens multi-vitamin and it was found to contain dangerous levels of lead. This has since been rectified. There is no such evidence of lead being found in their protein powders.
