      I am about to have droopy eyelid surgery, and expect some bruising, and swelling for a week or so. Will Arnica help, and what doseage should I use?

      Best Answer:  Arnica will definitely help with cosmetic surgery or any surgery. My doctor suggested strength of 30, but I also purchased the 6; both helped me. You should consult with your surgeon as to taking any over the counter medication. I have also used Arnica rub or gel for localized pain. I fractured my ankle and the gel immediately lessened any pain, for at least a little while. A homeopathic physician may also suggest Bromelain or pineapple to reduce swelling and bruising. This all helped me, but everyone is different and once again I strongly recommend you consult with your physician before taking or using any over the counter medication/vitamins/gel.

      Best Answer:  They are all about the same strength. But the 6c is for a specific area of pain. The greater the number, the greater the area it deals with. So a 30c would be for painful legs or an overall body ache. I use 6c for an elbow pain, a specific spot. It works fairly well. And it’s helpful in that you can take it with a Tylenol or ibuprofen if you need a little extra help

      Best Answer:  The manufacturer Boiron lists 6C may relieve local symptoms. Local symptoms are a symptom you can point a finger at (e.g., an insect bite or bruise). High dilutions, such as 30C, may relieve general symptoms more than one symptom in more than one location.
