♦ Herbaceuticals Naturcolor Permanent Spagyric Herbal Based Haircolor Gel is a permanent herbal-based hair color gel available in 32 beautiful shades that add incredible gloss while gently coloring your hair. Natural plant pigments color with a subtle transparent effect. Your gray hair will take the color differently than the darker portions of hair allowing for subtle color on color tones that look natural and never appear "dyed".

♦ Naturcolor can be used to complement your natural hair color while covering gray. It can be used to add subtle, but radiant highlights, or to dramatically change your existing hair color. It will not fade as other hair color products do. Herbaceuticals Naturcolor Permanent Spagyric Herbal Based Haircolor Gel was designed for chemically sensitive people. Every effort has been made to substitute safe, natural ingredients for the harsh often dangerous chemicals that pervade the hair-care industry. A few people may have allergic reactions, even to natural ingredients which is why we recommend a skin sensitivity test. Naturcolor is so gentle it can be used over other hair color products or on permed or relaxed hair. We suggest ten days between perms and color (perm first).

♦ The "N" (Natural) Series as specially formulated with the strongest pigments to "cover" gray. If your goal is to cover gray, begin with the choice of a color in the "N" series. The other color groups (C, M, R, D) are made with lighter pigments. They will color in a moretransparent effect and are also designed to be mixed with the "N" Series when special custom tints or highlights are desired. When choosing a color, be aware that you cannot go from dark to light with Naturcolor.

Warning

Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use on irritated, red or broken scalp. Never use near or around the eye area. If mixture accidentally gets into the eyes, flush with cool water. If irritation persists, contact a doctor. Do not use over metallic dyes, hennas or color restorers. Hair breakage and/or discoloration could result. Do not mix with other hair color products. Do not store product after mixing together. Avoid spilling on clothing and carpets as staining will occur. Use plastic or glass containers only. This product contains ingredients which may cause skin irritation. A preliminary patch test, according to the enclosed instructions, should be made prior to application. Do not use to tint eyelashes or eyebrows. Doing so may result in blindness.

Soft and shiny
First time user, loved the softness and shine it left my hair after dyeing. It's last about 5 weeks, but it's more the roots are showing versus the product wearing off. I wash my hair every other day so perhaps that it's why it has lasted. Yet, the softness and shiny is still there.

Misleading claim
The product description indicates that it's permanent hair color but it does not live up to its claim. I have less than 25% gray, and it covered my gray well. However, after a few weeks, the color starts to wash off and the gray is showing again.

Love the results
Love the results. Long lasting color. Easy to use. Conditioner leaves hair soft and shiny. Who likes dying their hair? It's a nuisance, but I'm always happy after I color with NC.

I used this color for a few years when i lived in Colorado and could buy it at my local health food store. I absolutely loved it and when i moved to Oregon it was not carried here and was not available online. I had to switch to Naturtint which is not a bad product but it tends to fade, a problem i never had with Naturcolor and it also is harsher more drying. I am thrilled to see Naturcolor online and will be switching from Naturtint back to Naturcolor immediately! The color is very pure and natural just like the color I was born with. One thing to note if you need to go to a slightly lighter shade you will need to use Naturtint as Naturcolor does not lighten at all. You may want to start one shade lighter then you think you will need to be sure you don't go darker than you want. Ifit is a little too light you can always get the next darker shade for your next coloring.

What number N of naturcolor is good for black American hair that has stubborn grey?

Best Answer:  have medium brown hair and I like 4N. Would think for black or darker brown hair that you would want a 2N. 3N is not super dark.

I also have stubborn gray hair. Sometimes I mix 1/4 of the Ash into the neutral. So for me that would be 4C. I had to start doing this when the gray got over 40%

Best Answer:  Yes I'm pretty sure this product has PPD. I switched however to Naturtint which does not contain PPD. Hope this helps ;)
