Yep, it works

Helps translocation of glut4 to cellular membrane surface, this assists in lowering blood sugar by increasing insulin sensitivity to skeletal muscle cells.
One would take it 30-45 min prior to a meal. A low carb meal :)
Also, r-lipoic acid recycles glutathione and other antioxidants, assists in nerve repair and reduces neuropathy symptoms over time, low carb diet, and exercise. For example, if one took R-lipoic acid after exercise on the way home, then after a post exercise meal 30 min after taking R-LA, it would theoretically increase the uptake and speed digestion of meal and reduce postprandial insulin spikes.

Best Answer: I have no idea what if anything it will do with feet. I bought it as a potential aid for regulating blood glucose. I can't say that it had a significant effect in that regard and I stopped taking it.
