This product works great for me, but I do not have migraines. I have a mild case of restless leg syndrome, and this product helps with that also. As far as loose stools, it is important to let your body be the judge of how much you should take. Begin with a teaspoon a day and increase until you get the result you need without the unpleasant side effects.

  I use this to reduce foot/leg cramps from chemo-induced neuropathy. Works great for me. Also helps with sleep. I take 1 tsp at bedtime. More would result in loose stools for me.

  Regarding bowel function. For me it began to work within 24 hrs. If I don't take it every day I can take it 2 days later and it works that day.

  It depends on what you are trying to accomplish with it. If it's for a laxative effect or to help sleep, it works right away. If it's for heart palpitations or something like that, it takes a few weeks.

  I always use warm water and have honestly never tried to use cold. In my opinion I don't think the cold water would create the same fizzing reaction to integrate the powder with the water. If you've tried cold water and get the appropriate integration, I would say it would be okay.

Magnesium is necessary for the body, but in excess it can cause intestinal discomfort and can act as a laxative. So, just give it a try, see how it is at night and do what your body tells you, everyone is different.

  Yes. I take 1 tsp in a cup of warm water before bed. It relaxes me and helps me sleep. It also prevents cramps in my legs and feet that I have due to chemo-induced peripheral neuropathy. I hope it works well for you if you decide to try it.

I do suggest to mix with water and let sit a little, it tastes better...I do like it better than the more expensive brand as it doesn't have additives to sweeten.

  Yes, that is the time to take it, you will rest better and will help with early morning digestion. Could not do without it. We have been taking it for years now. Love it!!!!

  I cannot answer this for certain. A doctor should. However, magnesium is supposed to reduce blood pressure.

  Maybe you're not reacting to the magnesium, but perhaps to the Stevia (sweetener) - I found an advefse response when I used Stevia in other warm drinks - and that was after I had used it for many many years...so is could be you have developed a sensitivity to Stevia. Purchase the Calm without the flavoring and/or the sweetener - just the magnesium and/or calcium combo and sweeten if with honey if you need to - just try it by itself and see if that is the problem.

  First of all, I am a retired Nurse Practitioner, not just a product user. If the product is the same, but your body's reaction is different, then I am concerned you are having a health issue not related to the product. See your regular health professional and tell them about your new symptoms.

  The problems with taking the Calm was very gradual and it took a while for me to pinpoint the problem. I am very sensitive to alot of things as I have gotten older - have been lactose sensitive for many years. Finding alot of help with ginger. Have begun using Probiotics - not sure if they are helping or not. I am trying to remove most sweets (which has really been a problem forever!) and this seems to really help with the acid reflux! Thanks for the input!

  I have not had stomach issues with this. I agree with Anita. Maybe it is a health issue not related to this product.

  In my opinion, there is nothing in this product that would be harmful to you or your nursing baby. I am no expert, but I cannot see that 325 mg of magnesium would be at all detrimental.

  I would think it is okay to consume at any time since this is just a way to get your essential minerals.
You get minerals in the fruits and vegetables that you eat daily. Only Natural Calm is more effective!

  Start SLOWLY! And work up gradually. For my son, a little goes a long way. I'd start with a teaspoon and go from there. Seriously, slow and steady is the ticket. Tip the scale in the wrong direction, and you'll end up with diarrhea! But it's actually great for getting rid of irregularity without laxatives or other harsh fiber stuff. :-) Good luck.
