Product ruined, now contains synthetic Vitamin A
Product ruined, now contains synthetic Vitamin A, it used to be solely from Cod Liver Oil.
Sad to say I will no longer buy this product.
Shame on VitaminShoppe for ruining what was once a good product

Good product! Works well for teenage acne. Plain Vitamin D in large amounts could cause constipation but this one does not. It has low dose and it is natural

Inadequate labeling
I love Vitamin Shoppe brands and so I thought I’d try this product. I should have looked closer at the label but no where is it listed how many mg are in each capsule like other brands. So I don’t know how much to take compared to other brands.

I contacted VS on social media and they didn’t know either.

So I will not repurchase and will be more careful in the future.

Improves my eyesight
I've taken fatty acids (cod liver oil, flax seed oil, evening primrose, and borage oil) for many years for my joints, upon the recommendation of my chiropractor. One thing I've noticed is that if I slack off on the fatty acids for a couple months, especially cod liver oil, my ability to see up close (such as reading the small print on vitamin bottles, lol) diminishes. Once I start taking cod liver oil regularly again, my eyesight improves within a few weeks.

Best Answer:  There is no quantifiable EPA/DHA (Omega 3) in this product. Due to the processing of the cod liver oils to remove natural contaminants, these fatty acids were also removed as well. We cannot claim EPA/DHA even if it’s present in trace amounts.
